再一次提醒,當您使用儀器前,請務必先檢查AC交流電(以120伏特為例)及接地狀況,如果沒有達到以下的基本要求,請千萬不要接上電源,否則儀器極易受損,甚或造成人體危險

步驟一: 確定電源插座有3孔,即火線ˋ中性線及接地線,沒有三孔就不插上。(如圖一)

步驟二: 確定三孔電源插座(圖一)極性正確:可用
(a):電源極性測試器,經由紅ˋ白ˋ黃三個燈之組合來判別極性正確否。
(b)
:三用電錶,並參考步驟三之量測。

步驟三: 用電錶測試火線與中性線間的電壓在108~126伏特間 (L-N=108~126V),瞬間變動電壓不能超過120伏特±15%中性線與接地線間電壓小於1.0伏特,同時,無論儀器是否啟用,其變化量亦不超過1.0伏特 (N-G<1V)

Dear Sir,

The telescope was fine last night.  The weather was worse than last
yesterday.  I think the error of polar alignment in azimuth is less than 1
arcmin.  The Dec. motor worked normally, and didn't make noise yet.
The detail records are as follows:

PM 02:30 ~ AM 05:30  Cleared the connection cables up.
PM 08:30 ~ AM 02:30  Did East-West correction of polar alignment.
AM 02:30 ~          Covered by clouds.

p.s.  Today we will do polar alignment in latitude and take images.

Hallo Sir,

As I spoke before, the error of the polar alignment is less than 30
arcsec.  When we took images with AP-8 last night, the images shown bad
tracking unreasonably (even at 1 min exposure).  We doubt that water pump
causes that (Maybe not).  And I feel image quality is poor.  I mean it
seems like a thin silk covered the windowpane of AP-8.
The One-Meter T. worked well, but the hardware limit switch of altitude
stopped it the once.  

AM 07:30 ~ AM 10:30     Waited for the aircraft and took the top view of
              Lulin Observatory.
PM 08:30 ~ PM 11:30     Corrected the polar alignment quickly.
PM 11:30 ~ AM 05:30     Took images as follows: M74, M77, NGC660,
              NGC772 etc.

=============Schedule of Tonight===============
0. Clean up the AP-8.
1. Make sure the polar alignment.
2. Make pointing configuration.
3. Exchange AP-8 to ST-8E, and take the same objects.
